Please be mindful of Emergency vehicles

Well, Mr HKer inadvertently did not give priority to an emergency response vehicle last time...

It's bad. And he should be keeping an eye ahead on the road and listen for the sirens. Because if he did, he would have reduced his speed and been able to stop before the ER vehicle and not make it wait 3 seconds as he could not slow down and stop in time. You don't learn these things in driving schools but it's there in the student guidebook about what to do when there are ER vehicles: "Give priority".

ER teams around the city are our heroes. They save lives and they are critical to the city. Without them, our city won't work and there would be too many casualties. This is why we should be considerate and keep an eye for the ER teams working round the clock.

A few weeks ago, we saw some hooligans (real idiot kids) light up a small fire in a container and then call the firemen. It's plain terrible and it's liable to a fine. The ER teams risk their lives driving around town at high speed and rush to danger zones and it's imperative we help them and watch out to give them priority.

So, stupid hooligan kids and mrHKer, take note for future reference!
