Is Costco a wholesaler?
We'd like to believe so. Because of the size of the products as compared to the regular size in the supermarket...
Our first experience...
The picture is a bit misleading because that represents only a tenth of the size of the warehouse that hosts all the products and there are thousands of products in that store. The general impression is for each product we purchased, the size and quantity exceeds the regular versions we are used to, and the price is higher, but the price-size(or quantity) ratio is lower.
And the place is huge! And crowded and busy.
However, the products sold look very proper and you have the major brands as well as their Kirkland signature products. Basically you cannot go wrong on the quality there.
Only downside? If you do not have a Costco membership card, you can't enjoy the discounted prices. And that costs ~$70 a year (with GST and rounded up). You would really get value from it if you spent a min of $2000.
